Alpha Junior
Grades: 7-8
Through kayaking, team “survivor” challenges, high ropes, and archery, our Junior campers build self-esteem, confidence, and enthusiasm for leadership!
The Junior program offers goal setting, journaling habits, peer mentoring, insight into peer pressure, responsible decision-making, and development of each camper’s leadership style. This program is an excellent way to prepare for high school. (The Initiative Explorer program is a natural follow-up to Alpha Junior.)

- Length: 7 days
- Locations: Lake Simcoe, Orillia and Pigeon Lake, Peterborough
*All YLCC Programs are designed for the grade your camper will be entering in the fall of the same year that you are registering for summer camp.
