""I am writing to thank you and your Pigeon Lake Staff for working so closely with us to ensure a wonderful team- and character-building event for all of us at Kirby Centennial P.S- Our First Annual Kirby Centennial Camp Day! This has long been a dream of mine, based on research and experience. When I debriefed with our Grade 5 students, we developed a Mind Map that included fun, trust, responsibility, the need to avoid goofiness (at times), leadership, working together, helping younger students, and much more! The day was planned to help students and staff and our volunteer community learn better how to understand each other, appreciate each other other, to consider others and act with kindness and compassion. This goal was achieved and we saw and heard students helping each other, taking care of each other, and supporting each other throughout their activities at YLCC. Thank you for educating students to excel in learning, succeed in life and enrich our communities!"
