Student-designed and Student-lead Leadership Camp Retreats

This style of retreat is quickly gaining popularity as it requires a camp committee to plan and carry out parts or all of the retreat; as well it gets high school students excited about leadership!
One of the schools we work with (Port Perry H.S.) has been running a leadership camp at YLCC for the past 4 years and has told us several times of the many benefits their leadership camp has made visible in their school student body.
The camp committee learns a lot about planning, flexibility, hard work and positive leadership and the camp participants learn about their own leadership qualities, barriers, talents and finding a place to shine in their school.
Through exciting workshops, hands on activities and motivational speakers, students begin to realize their leadership potential! Please ask us about programming options and how the YLCC staff can help you.
At YLCC, we are happy to run as much or as little programming as you need-each year we can step back a little more if your students are ready for more responsibilities!
