What is the Lake Simcoe Training Centre
Lake Simcoe Training Centre is a modern, clean, full-service outdoor leadership and conference centre that is perfect for school trips, corporate team building, community retreats, club retreats, sports teams, or family celebrations. We are conveniently located 60 minutes north of Toronto on the shores of Lake Simcoe. The Lake Simcoe Training Centre can accommodate 320 people for overnight and day programs.
High and low ropes elements, canoeing, kayaking, fixed and non-fixed initiative tasks, large group campfire area, indoor meeting spaces and more are all located on our beautiful site. You will not be disappointed with our delicious meals, friendly staff and welcoming accommodations!
Our prices include full food and facility services AND full staffing! Depending on the needs of your group, our staff can do all, some or none of the programming while your group is at Orillia! Please check out our programs below; if you have a unique program idea in mind that you do not see on the list below, please contact us as we are constantly adding to our program options and creating specialized programs for our clients.

Who is using the Lake Simcoe Training Centre?
We have delivered programs to public and catholic school boards all across Ontario; other private education institutions like Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto, Elmwood School, Bishop Strachan School; community groups such as the Orillia Youth Symphony and Orchestra, Canadian Girls in Training, Girl Guides, Kitchener Junior Hockey, Jane Goodall Institute Roots and Shoots; and corporate groups such as Keating Tours, i3DVR and Huriona Nurse Practitioners Network.
