Big Brothers Big Sisters is OSLC 2011 Charity Of Choice
Aug 21, 2011
Each year, OSLC requests each school to raise a minimum of $250 for a charitable organization and this year we have chosen Big Brothers Big Sisters!
Big Brothers Big Sisters provides volunteer-based mentoring programs of the highest quality to more than 33,500 young people in over 1,000 Canadian communities. We work on behalf of Canadian families to help ensure that every child who needs a mentor has a mentor.
For nearly 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been making a positive difference in the lives of our nation’s youth. Serving as role models, our mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, of staying in school, and of having respect for family, peers and community. There is no more important investment we can make, than in helping our children realize and share their full potential.

IMPORTANT - We are asking that each high school raise at least $250 for BBBS. IF each school raised this amount we would be donating over $25,000 - please help make a difference.
