• "I have been taking students to OSLC for the past 3 years now. Our first year I took 3 students, the next year 8, and this past year, 15. There is no other conference that I would rather take my Students' Council Executive to. OSLC is a huge motivator for my new council, they see other schools at their best and feed off of their energy and ideas. They also get to discuss issues and realize that the problems they face are not necessarily unique to their school. The guest speakers at OSLC are the absolute best speakers I have ever had the chance to see and it allows my students to witness what they have the potential to be for the year. Several of my students described this year's experience with Craig Kielburger as "life changing". My students always come back excited and motivated for the new year. On top of all this, OSLC is the only conference that also gives staff advisors a chance to learn and grow. Most conferences treat the advisors as police keepers only, but OSLC provides top notch presenters and workshops for advisors and I come home feeling as energized and motivated as my students. The OSLC staff are top notch, they are friendly, helpful, exciting and I recommend their conference to everyone!

• "We first attended OSLC in the fall of 2002 with 7 students out of the 30 or so that were part of our Student Activities Council at that time. We loved every part of the conference and vowed to return the next year with as many students from our group that could attend. So we returned the next fall with 40 students and every year since then our SAC group has grown, as has the number of students attending OSLC. We now look forward to the conference every year as a chance to get away together and bond, hear from some of the best student leadership speakers there are, attend a wide variety of outstanding workshops, to learn from other schools, to share about our school , and to make connections with amazing student leaders from all over the province. We now have over one hundred students engaged in leadership at our school and making a difference in ways we couldn't have imagined, and the OSLC experience has been a big part of that growth!
