Tammy grew up on the Prairies loving NKOTB, La Bamba, dancing like no one was watching and singing just about the same! Taking life by the “Just Do It” Nike philosophy, Tammy hopped on a plane 7 years ago going from small prairie city to the concrete jungle of Toronto and re-invented her life from the ground up knowing that she could and will!
Tammy has been working with Youth based programs through speaking and mentoring for the past 5 years since coming to Toronto. From her love of youth she has developed a company called Up2BIGstuff that launched in early 2010 and is out to empower youth globally with the tools and innovation to positively shift, embrace and educate all issues that are important to them and have an impact on all our lives.
The OUTCOME of Up2BIGstuff is youth have developed a way to end all violence everywhere and bring communication and listening for a world that works for all!
Tammy lives with the love of her life Nino and has 2 stepdaughters Maddy and Elise (18 and 15 years), and a crazy Boxer dog Hudson who all support the vision, and keep her laughing and playing full out!
Workshop Description for “The Elephant in Your Closet: Being Willing to Fail to Succeed, The Truth About Success”
We all have ways in which we deal with failure or problems in life. Tammy’s commitment is for you to identify the ways in which you have become accustomed to coping or not coping with failure, understand that you are not alone and provide you with new tools that will give you the freedom to have fun in life even if you fail! In this interactive and engaging talk you will leave having laughed and hugged your elephant!
