Initiative Explorer
Grades: 7-8
The Explorer program is designed to train young people to work as a team. This program is full of teachable moments when combining adventure, outdoor pursuits and team challenges.
Campers will explore the definition of initiative while on their overnight camping trip. Campers will challenge themselves on high ropes, orienteering, cooking over a fire all the while searching to find what drives them!
This program complements the Alpha Junior program.
- Grades 7-8
- Length: 14 days
- Locations: Lake Simcoe, Orillia and Pigeon Lake, Peterborough
*All YLCC Programs are designed for the grade your camper will be entering in the fall of the same year that you are registering for summer camp.
