  • Vulture Hall - Dining Hall

Our dining facility is called “Vulture Hall.” It is a large facility that can hold 320 people. We usually serve our meals family style to encourage community and conversation!

Our kitchen staff are exceptional; they are dedicated to serving healthy meals that comply with the Canada Food Guide to Healthy Eating. There are always vegetarian options and we can accommodate many other special dietary needs (ie. Allergies, kosher-style, vegan, theme nights, etc.)

After a full day of running around you won’t go to bed hungry, because we always serve an evening snack!

  • Rec Hall

Our Rec Hall is a camp classic and was built about 75 years ago! The stage, large open space, and character of the building create the perfect atmosphere for talent shows,  indoor games, evening activities and skit nights!

No need to bring your own costumes as we have a unique tickle-trunk and props area!

  • Grand Central Station

This magnificent washroom complex was recently repainted and renovated, including the addition of cedar shower stalls! Stainless steel sinks, heat, tiled showers and clean well lit rooms make this a modern facility that all clients, campers and staff are comfortable using!

  • Camper Cabins 1-16

Our main cabin line consists of 16 cabins; each of which sleeps 16+ people. Ten of our cabins are heated for late fall, winter and early spring retreats!

All of the top bunks have a safety railing. The cabins have a main room with bunk beds and a counselor (adult/supervisor) room in the back of the cabin. All cabins are very close to our main bathroom building “Grand Central Station”

  • The Chapel

The Chapel, nestled in the woods, is one of the most peaceful buildings at camp. This very old building underwent an extensive renovation in the summer of 2005 which included the beautifully crafted stained glass windows, sky lights and refinished hard wood floors that make this a building every camper and client cherishes.

This non-denominational chapel is perfect for small group meetings, weddings with up to 110 guests, meditation and reflection.

Please call for a tour for weddings. We offer a complete wedding package perfect for that outdoor couple who wants their guests to have a real adventurous experience!

  • The Mansion - Adult Cabin

Adult supervisors love the mansion! The Mansion consists of 6 individual rooms, each with a bed, side table and closet. There are also two bathrooms and a lounge area with a coffee maker, kettle and a selection of Tea and a small fridge.

A nice place to get away and sit on the porch to enjoy the sounds of nature.

  • High Ropes

At the Orillia Training Centre we have two separate high ropes courses. One is nestled in the woods and the other is located in our top field. We have 19 different elements that can be used to teach team work, communication, trust building, problem solving, goal setting and so much more!

  • Waterfront

We are so lucky to have over 900 feet of beach where we offer canoeing, kayaking, peddle boats, and swimming.

Breathtaking sunrises are enjoyed at our early morning paddles. Sit back in a Muskoka chair and enjoy the sounds of being at our private beach.

  • Additional Indoor Program Areas

In addition to the already listed buildings, we have several other buildings that can serve as indoor program areas for cold weather, rainy days, or indoor workshops.

The longhouse, frontier house, and craft barn are all spaces available for programming with your group!

  • The Tuck Shop

Our tuck shop is located in our main office building.  We sell an assortment of tasty treats as well as souvenirs, such as t-shirts, water bottles, sweatshirts, Frisbees, and sweatpants!

  • Fire Bowl

The fire bowl is a large space with bench seating around a large campfire pit!

It is a magical spot where students admire the stars, share memories with friends and sing camp songs and cheers with the YLCC staff.

The fire bowl was recently fixed up by our summer campers in the Leaders In Training Program; the twiggy archways, painted quotes and seating for 300 are all wonderful additions!

  • The Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is one of our indoor programming areas suitable for indoor workshops, sessions and rain activities.  The Meeting Room will accommodate up to 20 people in a casual circle formation.
